Cookie policy
What are the necessary cookies used by VPluse VPN, why are they needed and how to manage them?
What are cookies?
Cookies are small records stored by your browser for a website. VPluse uses them to securely continue sign-in, payment, renewal and account activity between requests.
Closing a notice does not constitute consent to an advertisement or newsletter: it only remembers that the user has read the information.
Necessary VPluse cookies
__Host-vpluse_session stores a secure web session identifier. __Host-vpluse_email_tx and __Host-vpluse_yandex_tx link the browser to a one-time email or Yandex ID check.
__Host-vpluse_checkout_auth authorizes one specific checkout. __Host-vpluse_checkout_intent and __Host-vpluse_yandex_return briefly store only allowed flow values and a safe return route from Yandex ID.
__Host-vpluse_gift_claim restricts claiming a particular gift, and __Host-vpluse_identity_link restricts confirmation of a particular identity link. These cookies do not grant general access to someone else's account.
vpluse_renewal and vpluse_renewal_attempt restrict renewal to one subscription and payment attempt. vpluse_cookie_notice remembers that you dismissed this notice for one year. vpluse_locale remembers your interface language.
vpluse_locale remembers your language for one year. The app also saves this preference locally as vp.lang. These settings contain no access keys or payment data.
Term and protection
Session cookies have a limited term and are deleted or replaced after completion of the relevant scenario. login cookies and checkout are transmitted only over HTTPS; sensitive cookies are not available in JavaScript thanks to HttpOnly.
The values of protected cookies are not displayed in the interface, are not included in public links and should not be passed on to support.
Third-party services
When form protection is enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile can process browser technical data and set its own security features according to Cloudflare rules. Payment provider and Yandex ID apply their technologies on their own domains.
VPluse does not add advertising pixels through these scenarios and does not use Turnstile result for advertising profiling.
Attribution without advertising cookies
Attribution of the source of purchase does not use a separate cookie. Permitted UTM options and opaque click ID are transmitted only within the selected checkout to link the transition, order and confirmed payment.
Attribution does not store the full referrer URL or IP address. An unidentified source remains unknown rather than being replaced by a guessed platform.
Analytics and advertising
Advertising and analytics cookies are not currently in use, and if such functionality becomes available, it will not be enabled until a separate clear user selection and update of this policy is made.
How to manage cookies
Cookies can be deleted in the browser settings. After deletion, you will need to reconfirm the login; an incomplete checkout or renewal may require you to start again.
Blocking all necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, payment, renewal and account access. Public pages remain accessible.
